ABSTRACT

Objective: The purpose of this article is to relate the application of the UN the 2030 Agenda to the current context of the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Such application may occur through the principle of fraternity. Methodology: The research was developed using the hypothetical-deductive approach method, the comparative procedure, the indirect documentation technique, the bibliographic research: in books and legal journals;documentary;legislation and on electronic websites. Results: The pandemic has shown that human beings are not self-sufficient and that they need others not only to preserve themselves, but also to develop. To achieve this result, the article dealt in the first section with the main points of the 2030 Agenda and its character of community building. In the second section, the principle of fraternity will be analyzed. In the third, the community character of 2030 Agenda will be addressed, the false security evidenced by the pandemic and the principle of fraternity as a community bond. Contributions: The constitutional principle of fraternity can be a significant pillar for the period after the pandemic passes, and still others can be dealt with in a mature way, in this 21st century and providing the construction of solid paths for the realization of tolerance on a global scale.
